About Eats for Life
Want to learn about food and how it is the key to your health? Then this is the right place for you!
My main goal is to learn and teach what foods are important to keep in our diets and what foods are dangerous and why. As I gain knowledge, I will be posting and updating my Blog for you to get educated and hopefully be able to apply these bits of nuggets to your own daily food intake for a new lifestyle of eating.
At home, I create recipes that are easy to make, since life doesn't always allow for time in the kitchen. I use simple, nutrient-dense ingredients, staying as close to fungus-free as possible. Once you get used to what you can eat, it's not difficult to keep it going. My husband suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis which has inspired me to start Eats for Life.
Many of these recipes have helped him in the healing process and remains in good health today.
A Bit More About Me...
My heart has always been to help, support, and love the people around me. I now have the wonderful opportunity to extend my findings to the masses. I'm a musician in a band (Psalms & Percussion) with my husband and I have a double major in design and marketing from American Intercontinental University.
My love for cooking started as a child helping my mother in the kitchen and always being by her side. Experimenting with foods came much later in life as the need arose to find alternative food preparations and choices. I'm German Jewish and Spanish which gives me quite the diversity in the foods I grew up with. I love to study culture and incorporate these lifestyles into the foods I prepare.
I hope my website brings life, healing, and an enthusiasm for foods and cooking.
May each meal you make take you one step closer to your healthier self.
So here's to you...and Eats For Life
